K-Pop as Music For Your Games: A Thread of Music and GIFs

As I continued watching these shows, I eventually started looking for the soundtracks, then the artists. Before you knew it, I became a full-blown K-Pop fan. Not sure anyone that knows me would have guessed that I’d go so far down that lane, given that I am a huge metalhead. Seems a bit contradictory, yeah? π
If you’re new to K-Pop, I’m going to throw a couple of classic “first-timer” songs in the OP here, followed by a few new songs that are popular now. That should give you a good feel for what you’re getting into. From there, we’ll try to compile and post songs, music videos, pictures, and gifs throughout the thread.

I donβt know enough about k-pop as a whole to give an especially articulate answer. However from my very limited experience, I feel that most of it are everything I dislike about contemporary Western pop music, but on steroids! But then, since I do really like Dreamcatcher, Iβm hoping this thread might introduce me to other artists I can get into.
I also donβt listen to much straight-up pop either, outside of Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, making it doubly hard for me to properly answer your question! ππ
I love Japanese music, but for me, itβs all about the rock and underground idol scenes!
