I figure it’s time to refresh the thread, and so here goes! Naturally, I will kick things off with what I am currently playing, and I won’t get anything next until after my birthday in two months. Are you ready? Then we’ll begin.

Here are the games I’m currently playing:

1. Earthbound Beginnings (NES through Wii U)
2. Double Dragon (NES through Switch)
3. Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon (N64)
4. Metroid Prime 2: Echoes (Wii)
5. Fire Emblem Three Houses (Switch)
6. Metropolis Lux Obscura (Switch)
7. Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney Justice for All (Switch)
8. Void Bastards (Switch)

Yeah, I have too many, but that’s one reason I won’t get anything new until my birthday in March. I have a bad habit of buying more games than I complete. Wrath of Samus made a thread about video game resolutions, and one of mine is to complete more than I buy. Will I hold to it? Let’s hope so.

I am playing through Astro’s Playroom and Immortal: Fenyx Rising.

I recommend Immortals if you have a ps4/5 or an Xbox One/Series S or X.

I’ve been jumping around a lot but the main game I’m trying to complete right now is SteamWorld Heist. I’m starting to realize that turn-based strategy games are a genre I really need to play more of so I also picked up Into the Breach off the shop during the sale. It’s a turn-based strategy game that also appears to have roguelike elements which is a type of game I’ve basically never played but probably need to give a try. Also picked up SteamWorld Quest, SteamWorld Dig, and Bastion off the shop during the sale.
